I'm starting to grasp the realization of how serious Christmas is when you have two children and a number of relatives who love them very much. It is only December 21st and already we have three large gifts. It's insane. Paul's mother is leaving for Vancouver today to spend the holidays with her daughter Stephanie and her husband Chris. So she wanted each boy to open a gift last night since she won't be here for Christmas day.
As much as I'd like to fight the commercialism of Christmas and cut down on the amount of plastic and *stuff* in my home, nothing beats the grins and the laughter from two happy boys with their new toys.
David got the Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra. It's a big hit!!! Both boys absolutely adore it and are bouncing their way through the day.
Peter got the Little People garage, another big hit. The boys played with it all morning!
I caught Peter on the zebra first thing this morning . . .

That looks like a lot of fun! They will have a great time with all their new toys. My concern is " Where in the world are Shannon & Paul going to fit in this house?"
Wait until you see the amount of plastic and "stuff" we have in my house.I will take a picture of the "playroom" someday.
It is almost inevitable that when you have young children you are going to have "stuff".
Nice gifts! Mine had that garage, too, but it met an untimely demise. They had it where it shouldn't have been one night, and I went into the littlest one's room carrying him to put him to bed and stepped on it. Luckily I didn't drop him or break my foot, but it did hurt, and the garage was broken. I kept it for a bit, but then it started to crack more, so I got rid of it before anyone could cut themselves on it. They still have a lot of the other Little People stuff.
I keep wondering what I'm going to do with the new Christmas stuff!
You're a fine one to talk, you two were absolutely buried in presents every Christmas!!!!! They look like they're having a ball, and it will certainly keep them exploring life from different angles all the time. It was the Kitchen that did me in... I couldn't beleive it when I saw it on your mother's blog!
Merry Christmas, Shannon, ejoy your day with your family. Miss you all lots...Love, Debbie
